Mr Roland Walker is an experienced Consultant Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Surgeon who believes every patient needs individual, thoughtful care. He takes time to listen carefully, understand how your symptoms affect your life and identify the true cause of the problem.

Where possible, Roland always explores the least invasive treatment options first. Many patients improve with expert diagnosis, rehabilitation, orthotics, injections or shockwave therapy without needing surgery. Roland is known for his careful, meticulous surgical technique and attention to detail, aiming to help patients recover comfortably and achieve the best possible long-term outcome.
Roland was appointed as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust in 2015, one of the UK's leading teaching hospitals. During this time he developed extensive experience treating everything from routine foot problems to highly complex reconstructive cases.
Alongside his clinical practice, Roland is helping shape the future of foot and ankle surgery. He works with a British medical technology company to develop innovative implants and is part of a specialist network pioneering patient-specific 3D-printed implants for complex ankle replacement and revision surgery. He has published numerous research papers and teaches and trains other surgeons through the renowned Guy’s Fellowship program and a number of prestigious courses.
Throughout every stage of treatment, Roland believes that patients should understand their condition, know the options available and feel confident in the decisions they make together. His aim is simple: to provide expert, personalised care that helps every patient return to the activities that matter most to them.

Our 79,000 sq ft, seven-story, private hospital on Wigmore Street has 39 en-suite inpatient rooms, consultation and treatment rooms, and a physiotherapy suite.
The hospital has a high-spec imaging suite fully equipped with an MRI, CT scanner and X-ray machine. There are three state-of-the-art operating theatres, two anaesthetic rooms and a recovery bay.

Fortius Clinic Wimbledon
Our Wimbledon clinic houses a state-of-the-art imaging centre with a 3T MRI and X-ray scanners, Ultrasound, seven consulting rooms, two spacious waiting areas and well equipped treatment rooms all located on one level, ensuring easy accessibility for all patients.
Our partnership with Spire St Anthony’s Hospital allows us to provide orthopaedic surgery closer to our clinic. We treat a full range of conditions and perform joint replacement surgery using the latest Mako robotic assisted technology.

We are open Monday to Friday from 8.00am to 8.00pm, and Saturday mornings from 8.30am to 12.30pm.
If you are travelling by Tube, our closest underground station is Wimbledon (District Line), which also has rail and tramlink services from central London and beyond.
There is no parking available at the clinic, but we have a number of parking facilities all within a 10-12 minute walk of the clinic: Centre Court Car Park, Broadway Car Park, and Hartfield Road Car Park. Please note that all of these facilities are paid car parks.
