Our suppliers
Our suppliers and contractors are required to comply with anti-modern slavery measures and to support our values of trust and integrity.
We continually review our supply chain and procurement processes and monitor new and existing contracts. We assess these for risks of slavery and human trafficking and request further information from suppliers where necessary, including to substantiate the accuracy of information already provided.
Our policies
We ensure all our staff are aware of the company’s position on modern slavery and human trafficking.
Our policies on Raising Concerns – Whistleblowing, Safeguarding Adults including MCA and DOLS (which has a specific section on modern slavery) Levels 2 and 3, Safeguarding Children Levels 2 and 3, and Equality and Diversity provide guidance to staff on how to report concerns about modern slavery and human trafficking and explain their obligations.
All our policies are reviewed regularly and are available to staff on our Quality microsite.
All staff receive mandatory training in Safeguarding Adults, Safeguarding Children, Equality and Diversity, and Affidea’s Code of Conduct.
Compliance is monitored monthly.
Due diligence
We have due diligence processes in place to assess and monitor the practices of our suppliers.
