Mr. Dean Michael - Professional Bio
Mr Dean Michael is a private Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon in London, specialising in hip and knee and foot and ankle conditions. Mr Michael trained in the London region gaining expertise in the management of disorders of the lower limb. His specialist training was at University College London and The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, particularly with regard to joint replacement and revision hip replacement.
On fellowship in Sydney, he honed his interest in the management of hip problems in young people, sports injuries and joint preservation at the Orthosports Unit and The New South Wales Institute of Sports Medicine.
Mr Michael has been a Consultant at The Rowley Bristow Orthopaedic Unit at St Peters Hospital since 2005 and is keenly involved in training of future orthopaedic surgeons, supervising specialist orthopaedic trainees and a specialist orthopaedic fellow.
He is a member of the British Orthopaedic association, The British Hip Society and The British Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society with a particular interest in hip problems in younger people, sports injuries and improving the outcome and recovery following hip replacement.

Our partnership with Spire St Anthony’s Hospital allows us to provide orthopaedic surgery closer to our clinic. We treat a full range of conditions and perform joint replacement surgery using the latest Mako robotic assisted technology.
